Mike Roemer/AP: Fans showed up last February to dig out Lambeau Field after the Packers beat the Pittsburgh Steelers in Super Bowl XLV so the famed stadium could host the victory celebration.
Fans helped clear snow from Lambeau Field’s 73,128 seats on Friday for the division playoff against the New York Giants. 1,200 people showed up to help. Notice the innovative snow chute in the center of photo above. No retractable stadium roof is required at the Frozen Tundra.
I was the Project Manager of a subcontractor at the last major Lambeu Field renovation.
