[[QB]] http://www.oncenter.com/products/qb/index.html (Quick Bid)  is a construction estimating software system that prices contract proposals based on labor types, material specifications, overhead and mark up. QB uses SQL databases with prefabricated assemblies,  conditions  and items to store material installation data. A stand-alone component of the On Center Software system, QB has available all the quantity measurement data from On Screen Takeoff ([[OST]]). Selected from the Master database the assemblies are further modified by users to meet contract specifications. Items can be adjusted interactively. Items contain the dropdown boxes for labor in regional markets, specific craft trades, and hourly rates; and material costs for the specific product(s)or mixture of products based on the measurement units used by [[OST]]. QB can provide multiple labor markets and material installation methods in an single item. QB has equipment, subcontractors, other items and reports of detailed labor, materials and total prices with breakdowns by zones.
