[ASP.NET]http://www.asp.net/get-started is a free framework for building internet websites and Web application using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Microsoft WebMatrix allows for simple connections to Web servers and fast database connections. Web Forms incorporated advance form controls using the Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2010 productivity software.  Microsoft MVC also using Visual Web Developer 2010 gives the user more control over Website markup for sophisticated applications. ASP.NET allows for more Web applications to run on the server and less client run code. The web page controls communicate with the server that an action has occurred on the client by a postback process. In contrast HTML pages are sent out from the server to the client without getting a "page received" message back from the client.
